Ultrasounds
Before John was born, 2 sets of ultrasounds were done to get a sneak peek and to check that all the parts were present.
The second set of ultrasounds were done at 38 weeks and a couple nice videos came out of them. The first video shows the feisty lad, with the working name Spartacus, rubbing his eyes in the womb.
The second video shows Spartacus after he shifted his hand out of the way, revealing a piece of placenta which he had no doubt been trying to move away. Spartacus did a lot of shifting: in the last 3 weeks alone, he went from breech to vertex to breech and back to vertex just before delivery.
The first set of ultrasounds were done in week 20 because Jessica’s gynecologist was unable to locate a fetal heartbeat that morning. Rough day, that. But by the end of it, all was just fine: Spartacus was just being elusive. This pic showed the lad-to-be in his entirety.
And this future leader sent his parents and the world a message from the womb.

Awesome pictures. I also saw John’s first month videos and he is Adorable. My nephew is the cutest baby I’ve ever seen(apart from my baby, of course). Glad you guys posted these!
