Michael designed and installed a 2.2 kW solar photovoltaic system in the Spring of 2011. It generates solar power to meet about 1/3 of our electricity use.

We chose to use Enphase microinverters to convert the DC output of each solar panel to AC current. Part of the Enphase system is real-time web-based performance monitoring:
